I’m a painter based in Eau Claire, WI, where I live with my wife and kids. My studio is tucked into our home, and my work travels farther than I do—showcased at art fairs across the country and online.
I work in heavy body acrylic on canvas, using bold, textured strokes that embrace the impasto style of French impressionism. Each brush mark is visible, creating a stained-glass effect that invites the viewer to slow down and see.
I believe art is both wild and sacred. It helps us notice what we might otherwise overlook: the dignity of the earth, the quiet strength of a wild animal, the holy hush of stillness. My work leans into that belief—anchoring us to beauty, to longing, and to the deep story of restoration that runs through the land and through us.
